Built in 1788, the historic John Brown House Museum provided home to the family of one of America's most important businessmen and slave traders. Now, visitors can take a guided tour of the mansion, viewing period furniture, artwork, and other memorabilia from the past few centuries. The House is located in the heart of Providence, on the south side of the Brown University campus.
